No Love Bug
It looks like our family has been bitten by a bug this week, and it's not a love bug. Nine-year-old Carson woke up in the wee hours of the morning Monday with stomach problems. He got so dehydrated that we spent most of the day at the hospital getting IV fluids. We assumed it was food poisoning until Mary Ashley and Emma woke up sick during the night. They are still having trouble keeping liquids down, and Joe is now the latest victim to the virus. He came home early from work very sick. Christian and I are the last ones standing, so I am praying that we will be spared. I am going to take a little break from blogging to tend to my family. Stomach viruses are my least favorite experiences to share as a family, but at least they are usually short-lived. I hope to be back soon. Let's hope the only bugs that bite us for the rest of the winter are love bugs!

MELISSA,SO SORRY YOU HAVE THE STOMACH VIRUSES.MY OLDEST GRANDAUGHTER HAS BEEN SICK FOR A WEEK WITH THIS AWFUL STUFF.HOPE THEY ALL GET BETTER SOON!
Melissa, so sorry to hear about your family's stomach woes, but something is definitly going on in our neck of the woods, too. Luckily - Lord willing - we want get it! I'll be praying that your family will be well soon!
Oh no! I hope you stay well! By the way- I saw Christian in the hall today, and he mouthed "Hey" to me. I was excited!
This nasty virus is making rounds. I had heard of it before your little family came down with it. I hope all is well soon.
Melissa, I'm so sorry! A friend of mine went through something like this with her youngest, he ended up in the hospital, and then the others got sick. I pray you don't get it. I'll be thinking of you and hoping that everyone will be on the mend SOON!

Hope your family is on the road to recovery and that you have not gotten it! My husband and daughter were sick over the week-end and Jessica is just getting to were she can hold anything down. Thankfully, "MOM" was not affected! YET!
If only there was "Off" for those kind of bugs!! I'll be praying for all of you, but especially that God would grant you good health to care for everyone else. I appreciate you so much!!! :)

Bless. Carter woke up all night with the same thing. I am taking him in just to make sure it is not the flu like LB had!

I will say a little prayer that it passes right over you... however, I did learn last week that Rest is Good! Unfortuately, I had to be sick to get it.

I hope your family feels better soon! It's really going around. One of Lauren's friends ended up in the hospital too because she got dehydrated.
It has been a couple of days since your post. I pray that in those two days, instead of you getting sick, everyone else has begun to get well! No fun having sick little ones....especially if YOU get sick!!
been hoping you guys were feeling better ever since I read your comment that you'd been sick. Oh--there is nothing lovely at all about stomach flu!
