"There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again." -- Elizabeth Lawrence
This picture of Carson and Hannah at 2 is still one of my all-time favorites. It sits on my bedside table, and each day when I see it, I am reminded of this sweet moment my best girlfriend, Vonda, captured on film many years ago. It seems that these two went from toddlers to "tenagers" in the blink of an eye! They had not seen each other in several years, but enjoyed catching up when Mike, Vonda and Hannah visited last weekend. Here are Carson and Hannah, now.
Carson and Hannah at 10. (They have come a long way since we propped them on the sofa together as infants for photos!)

Oh Carson and Hannah, you both look so beautiful in both photo's. Be friends again and your friendship will make you lovely memories for in later life. Have a wonderful summer.
Your dear mothers are very proud of your gentleness, kids.

Aw very cute. Both pictures! They look so grown up!
All the best,
Allison
I have a friend who has a son my daughter's age. They were best friends as "youngin's" also. They are 17 and 18 now. We have such sweet memories of them together when they were little. It's sweet that you have such a nice picture.
I have a similar picture of my best friend's little boy with my daughter. There is a sweet joy in seeing your children love the children of those you love!
Brother - sister friends...what could be better! Time does go so fast, and memories are so special. Good looking family that you have!!
ps. my sister made your lemon bar recipe the other week, and everyone loved it!
Melissa,
What beautiful kids...that run in your family. Hannah and Carson look enough alike in this pic to be brother/sister even though Hannah looks very different from your own beautiful girls. What sweet pics. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful children.
Each child is a blessing. It's a delight to see what talents they have as their personalities develope and shine forth.
Blessings to you from the Kansas flinthills,
~D~
