We have been taking the children to a favorite pottery studio to paint Easter eggs for several years now. I didn't even think to take my camera with me when we first started the tradition, but it seems I take more and more photos each year.
From one year to the next, it is amazing to see how much the children have grown. But even as their color preferences and paint techniques change, I see common threads in photos taken through the years. Carson, our most serious artist, displays quiet focus with lips pursed in concentration. Christian sticks his tongue out as he works, his countenance relaxing with each stroke of the brush. Mary Ashley is our delicate princess -- her every movement dainty and sweet. And Emma radiates joy, whether she is painting or playing. Here is a look back at how my little bunnies have grown.

Sweet photos and sweet memories :o)
Blessings & Aloha!
So sweet! The joy of traditions!
We also have this family tradition. {When I take out the eggs each year -- I love thinking about where we were living and who was old enough to paint. A little walk down memory lane.}
I especially love how you took photos of them painting each year. Thank you for sharing...
So cute to see the tradition throughout the years. Your kids get cuter and cuter every year!
Oh, I just love these pictures..they are causing tears in my eyes how quick kids grow up. I saw those easter-egg-painting sets today and did not buy them because I thought the kids are getting too old and it´s a bit messy. But I will go back to that store tomorrow and buy them anyway! They are 2, 11 and 12 now..I better cherish these moments! Thank you for sharing!
